Eiya Heike
Eisen Heike (平家エイヤ, Heike Eisen) is a jonin-level shinobi of Konohagakure. He is a loud and proud member of Team Keisuke alongisde Tōrai Yanagi and Seiki Hyakurai. He has an abudance of spunk and moxie, though he can be a bit of a klutz with weaponry and is frequently discouraged from handling sharp objects. He is an openly transgender man, having faced harsh prejudice while growing up when he was forced to hide his true identity from his family. Ever since he came out publicly, he has been happier and isn't as bothered by those who don't understand him. Eiya has earned a spot in the Academy as an instructor, proudly preparing new generations of shinobi.

Eiya is an energetic optimist who strongly believes in working hard with a smile. He is always excited to train and hone his skills and is passionate in everything he does, no matter how small the task. He encourages others to go above and beyond their limits, claiming that nothing is impossible with a little hard work and elbow grease.
Despite his cheerful, happy-go-lucky nature, however, Eiya does have some insecurities regarding his body. He states that the body he was born with makes him depressed, so he's taken it upon himself to ensure that he never feels that way again, and remarks that he's always happy now. He makes a point of always smiling, even in the face of adversity, wanting to be a beacon of hope and happiness for those around him.
Having come from a large family, Eiya is very social and holds teamwork in high regard. He enjoys coming up with cooperative techniques with his teammates, stating that it strengthens their bonds.
Eiya is relatively tall with long, vibrant orange hair that is normally seen tied back. He has light brown skin covered in freckles, bright orange eyes, and long eyelashes. As a genin, he is shown to be somewhat muscular already, and wears a black crop-top with the upper portion being made of mesh, black pants that are tucked into bandage wraps around his calves, and black socks (no shoes). His shirt bears his clan's mon: a stylized butterfly. He has a pinkish-red mala bracelet on his right arm and wears his hitai-ate around his neck. His hair frames his face and falls over his shoulders while the rest is tied up in a ponytail. Like the rest of his team, his nails are painted black.
In Part II, he has grown taller and more lean. He now wears all of his hair in a high ponytail except for his bangs, which are parted to the right and fall over his eye. He wears a sleeveless black top with a raised collar and a window over his chest that bears his family crest. A hot pink sash to match his bracelet is worn around his waist that his hitai-ate is attached to and he wears black, fingerless gloves that cover his forearms. A black-and-red floral print haori hangs around his waist, but he is rarely seen with his arms in the sleeves. Beneath that he wears loose black pants and open-toe socks that show his heels.
In the New Era, his hair is still tied up and sectioned off into four thick portions, reaching his mid-back. He wears wide black stripes of cloth over his chest in an X-shape and has traded his bracelet for a mala necklace. His gloves now reach his biceps and he wears the same haori, though he is now seen with it on more often. His pants are now tucked into his socks, which reach his knees.
Eiya displays incredible physical strength and stamina, even in his early childhood. Due to the constant release of chakra used to maintain his Transformation Technique, he has developed superb chakra control and endurance. Because of this, he appears to be full of energy at all times and rarely ever exhausts himself. His technical precision is such that he can alter only certain and specific parts of his body without changing the rest of his appearance.
While not on par with the physical prowess of Rock Lee, Eiya is a taijutsu specialist in his own right. He uses elements of both capoeira and tai chi fighting techniques, remaining loose and agile in his movements. He also shows incredible flexibility and core strength, capable of balancing on a tightrope with one hand while contorting his body without faltering. He is quite the acrobat and regularly shows this in his fighting style, often utilizing elements of his surroundings to gain the upper hand against his opponent.
Using his chakra nature in conjunction with his taijutsu, Eiya is capable of using the Fire Release Chakra Mode, which coats his body in a layer of fire chakra that serves to enhance his taijutsu abilities. This technique increases his strength more than his speed, though he does seem to move noticeably faster in this state. However, prolonged use of his cloak of chakra will result in burns along his body. Normally this is not an issue for those who can use similar abilities with their chakra natures, but Eiya's capacity for energy allows him to maintain this state for much longer than others, increasing his exposure and leaving him vulnerable to the side effects.
Eiya is also shown to perform various katon techniques while in this state, such as Blazing Cyclone and Fists of Fury.
Eiya learned medical ninjutsu from Tsunade during the interlude, training alongside Ino Yamanaka. Since their team lacked a medical-nin, Keisuke proposed that Eiya should take up the task, seeing as he had the most refined chakra control of the three of them. His healing abilities are on par with Ino's, and while Tsunade didn't teach him the same offensive techniques that she shared with Sakura Haruno, she notes that Eiya already possesses an impressive affinity for chakra control and that he doesn't require her guidance.
Team Keisuke is sent to infiltrate a masquerade ball in the Land of Tea to protect important guests.

Team Keisuke is tasked with escorting a nine-months pregnant woman to her sister's abode on the other side of a perilous mountain range within the Land of Snow.
On the way back from the Land of Snow, they lose their way and end up trapped in the mysterious Shrine of Mikazuki, where strange phenomena begin to occur. Seiki's unstable emotions are largely at fault for the delay in their return to the village and they begin to resonate with the supernatural energy within the shrine.

Team Keisuke is assigned a reconnaissance mission to Yugakure, where they gather information regarding the Akatsuki member Hidan. Later they relax at a hot spring resort.
Seiki faces off against Deidara, leaving her severely injured. Backup consisting of her team and some others arrive just in time to rescue her and retreat before she can be killed, reluctantly letting Deidara escape in the process.

- The name "Eiya" means "honour" or "glory", while his family name "Heike" (平家), though it doesn't appear to have any particular meaning, is a reference to The Tale of the Heike, a Japanese epic about the fall of a powerful samurai clan and warrior culture, also known as bushido ("the way of the warrior").
- Eiya has rufous albinism, a rare trait amoung those of African descent which causes the skin to lack pigmentation while the hair takes on a red-orange hue, though his orange eyes are an exception to this.
- Eiya's hobbies are dancing and yoga.
