Uki Inuzuka

Uki Inuzuka (犬塚ウキ, Inuzuka Uki, née Sakari (さかり)) is a chunin-level shinobi of Konohagakure. She's a member of Team Heisei along with Kogiri Ashinaka and, formerly, Yukari Hyakurai. Uki was the first of her family to enroll in the Academy since they travelled to the village from the Land of Snow. She carries an immense amount of cultural pride with her, determined to show the residents of Konoha that her family's heritage is to be respected and honoured rather than shunned.

• Uki's name means "floating hope" in Japanese, while her family name means "full bloom". However, her name is derived from Inuit naming conventions, so in that context, the meanings are "survivor" and "sweet", respectively.
